Description: Although vaccination is a very successful public health measure, it is perceived by some individuals as unsafe or unnecessary. Vaccine hesitancy can lead to declining vaccine coverages and an increased risk of new outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. In this lecture, we will look into the possible causes of this increase in vaccine hesitancy, and into the possible remedies.
