The 13th Excellence in Pediatrics Conference will take place in Amsterdam 2-4 December 2021

Don't miss the opportunity to attend in-person or online

The EIP Conference is now in its 13th year and is proud to provide all delegates with access to the latest practical pediatric advice covering all stages of life from infancy and early years all the way through to adolescent health - even covering the transition to adult care in certain cases. The program has been designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the main pediatric specialities and across all ages.

The conference will be organised in Amsterdam this December

We are optimistic that we will overcome the current challenges by this Summer and that we will resume travelling and meeting in-person. Now more than ever, we need to meet and collaborate as a community, transforming this crisis into a new opportunity by discussing our collective local and national experiences and challenges in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, it’s essential that we meet to share best practices on the latest developments across pediatrics to help us all provide the best care possible to all the patients and families we support.

Option to attend or present online

For those who won't be able to travel, but also to help young investigators and residents present their work even from the most remote areas of the world without the burden of travel costs, we will continue to offer the option to attend and present online. It is now evident that online conferences have opened new horizons for young scientists to present their work and interact with their colleagues from across the world. Hence we are determined to keep this window open in the future so that no one will miss the opportunity to present their work.

We will unify the in-person and the online experience

EIP was proud to deliver a state-of-the-art virtual conference last year. We now have the technology and the expertise to deliver online most of the EIP meeting experience. We will build on this to unify the in-person and the online audiences as if they were all attending in one place, projecting virtual presentations in the halls while also broadcasting in-hall presentations online. Both audiences will interact with the speakers asking questions and participating in polls in the same manner.

Combining in-Person and Online you get 5 times more educational content

In the past, a delegate would have been able to be present in one hall at each given time (getting about 20 hours of education from the whole conference) even when we had 6 halls in total with sessions taking place in parallel. While now with all sessions being broadcasted and then recorded any attendee will have access and can attend all sessions; either in-person in the hall (or live online if attending virtually) and then all other sessions can be watched online as recorded videos. In that way, each attendee will receive 100 hours of education compared to the previously available 20 hours.

The scientific program can be viewed as a series of parallel speciality conferences covering the latest hot topics and developments across specialities of pediatrics. Academics, leading experts and researchers from across the world will deliver 100+ hours of sessions, in 6 parallel streams, across 3 days featuring state-of-the-art presentations on topics covering 11 specialties; Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric Rheumatology, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Nutrition, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Pediatric Respiratory and Allergies, Pediatric Neurology, Emergency Pediatrics, Neonatology, Adolescent Medicine.

We will have our 13th conference at the newest, state of the art convention centre in the Netherlands: Postillion Convention Centre Amsterdam. An eye-catching building with the most innovative technological facilities. The venue's 17 halls and break out rooms will offer you a unique educational experience. The Postillion Hotel Amsterdam is very conveniently located, between the city and the arterial roads. EIP has also secured a limited number of hotel rooms at preferential rates for the conference delegates. Go to the page to view the venue, the halls, the rooms and what you can do in Amsterdam.

You can register to either attend in-person coming to Amsterdam or attend online. You will be asked to choose between Admission for Physical Attendance or Admission for Digital Attendance. Different registration fees apply to each admission type. You can switch between admission types (From Digital to Physical and vice versa) at any stage before November 15, 2021. We will adjust your order accordingly, and we will reimburse the difference when switching from a higher to a lower fee or you will be asked to pay the difference when changing from lower to a higher fee. Go to the page to view the registration fees and start your registration now.

While we look forward to meeting all authors in Amsterdam this December we also welcome all those who prefer to present their abstracts online in 2021. We have the technology and the expertise to deliver online most of the EIP meeting experience. Even if in-person interaction in the social and networking events will not be the same for virtual attendees, we are sure that many of the additional benefits they will get will compensate them. We will unify the in-person and the online audiences as if they were all attending in one place, projecting virtual Presentations in the halls while we will broadcast in-hall presentations online. Both audiences will interact with the speakers asking questions and participating in polls in the same manner. Collaborative networking events will be open for online attendees to join virtually. Go to the page to read the guidelines and start your submission.
